Our Formation Materials

Our archive contains formation and community development materials developed by CLC-USA. These materials are based on Church’s documents, CLC General Principles and Norms, CLC Charism, Igantius’ Spiritual Exercises and the diversity in languages and cultures that make up the unified body of CLC-USA. We invite you to check also the World CLC’s website (link).

These materials are not meant as as how-to documents, but they are meant as guides for further discernment and development to adopt to the reality of the local community. We ask that you consult the formation team to adapt it properly to the unique circumtance of your community. We appreciate if you can then share with us the fruit of your using these materials so that we can continue to improve these documents. Please click here (link) to access our site.

For formation materials for university young adults, they can be found and downloaded at the site for Young Adult CLC (link).

CLC-UK is also generous to share with us their formation materials, which can be accessed at this link: http://sdrv.ms/14gLQ2s.

    Hello,

I am a Jesuit from the New Orleans Province. I am currently writing a paper (which may or may not be published later on) about Jesuit Charism and Lay Collaboration. I have had some experience of the CLC’s, but I know that there are differences from one place to another. I am trying to access your online “Formation Materials” which are uploaded to a program called “box.” I created an account (with the email peperuizsj@gmail.com), but I still can’t access any of the files. Is there a way you could give me access? Or at least share with me what do you do in terms of formation. The CLC I was a part of basically didn’t have any formation, it was based on the regular meetings. Is there more to the CLC formation program in other settings?

    Thanks,

    Pepe
